A train add that extra thing to your wedding dress to make it look romantic. It may be not for everyone but if you have always dreamed of a fairytale wedding dress then you definitely need a train.
Here’s a guide to the different types of wedding dress trains you can have.
1. Sweep or Brush Train
If you like the idea of a train but you want something that’s not too formal then a sweep or brush train could be for you. It extends around one-and-a-half feet from the waist to the end of the dress.
2. Court Train
Just like Sweep train, court train is about a feet long and is attached at the waist.
3. Panel
Great for the indecisive bride, the panel train is just a panel of fabric, around a foot wide and can be as long or short as a court of chapel train. Usually it’s detachable too.
4. Watteau Train
Lovely and simple, a soft train that sits at the shoulder and falls to where the dress ends.
5. Chapel train
A very popular train, the chapel train is between 3.5 to 4.5 feet long from the waist.
6. Cathedral Train
Traditional and formal, the cathedral train extends 6.5 to 7.5 feet from the waist and has a very dramatic effect.
7. Monarch Train
The monarch, also called Royal Train, can be 12 feet or longer from the waist. Because of its length you will need page boys or flower girls to hold it when you walk – but that all adds to the drama!
